John Robert McNutt, 89, of Tequesta, FL, passed away October 8, 2014 at Tequesta Terrace. Born in Twin Harbors, Minnesota, he was the son of Roscoe and Elsie McNutt.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and holds ribbons for having fought in both the American Theater and the Asiatic Pacific Theater of World War II.
John was a Roman Catholic, and belonged to St. Andrew Catholic Church of Stuart, and later to St. Jude Catholic Church of Tequesta. John was an avid bowler and golfer.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Geraldine McNutt; Daughters, Karen (Richard) Buff, Pamela (Joe) Pollack; Sons, John McNutt, Mark (Patti) McNutt; step-children Kim Bevilacqua, Scott (Cathy) Hunter, Denise (James) Budde; Brother, Richard (Patti) McNutt; Sisters, Jean Nelson, Marjorie (Gordon) Meyer; Twenty Grandchildren and Fourteen Great-Grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church of Tequesta, FL with military honors prior to Mass.
All arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Young and Prill Chapel in Stuart, Florida.
