I am deeply sorry for your loss Angie. It was always a pleasure to be in John's company when we worked together in the Tenant Services Division of the WTD. He was very special and always brightened up your day. One of the best.My heart goes out to you and your family.Sincerely,Maria Luongo

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

John was a devoted twin brother, a dedicated husband to his beloved Angie, a loving son-in-law to Ruth, a kind and supportive father to Jennifer and Sandy, a wonderful father-in-law to Jim and Lorenz and a jovial grandpa for JB, Jason and Alex. He was a proud uncle. He loved his family and many cats throughout his life. John survived both Twin Towers events in 1993 and again on 9/11. He found the courage to continue his work in NYC until it was time to retire. His great wit will be sorely missed. John was a special man and a tremendous friend. He cared with all his heart and took care of those around him. May you Rest In Peace, dear John, without any suffering. Much love, Peg, Billy and Kay.
