My heartfelt condolences to the Merrill family. It was my pleasure to help Jack and Gen with the house chores when Jack could no longer do them. So glad I was able to meet him .

Chick and Pam,
So sorry to read of Jack's passing. What a wonderful man.
One day, after a round of golf, Jack talked about getting shot down over Europe during WW11, and how he endured his time as a POW. It's a story I don't think he shared with many people and I was honored to hear it. Jack was one of my real heroes. Rest in peace, old friend.

To Gen, Pam, Chick, Barbie and Dennis; What did Jack say ? "How can 95 years go by so fast ?" Perfect. He was my father's best friend and noone could have a better one. I looked up to Jack for more than 60 years. And now I still do. RIP Jack.

To all the Merrill family, I want to express my sincere condolences on Jack's passing. I will always be grateful that Jack took a chance and hired me as a young, naïve farm kid to work at the IH Manchester Branch in 1971. He was a great mentor and teacher and one of the classiest people I ever knew. His passion and belief in the company is one of the reasons I stayed with the company for 41 years. Thank you, Jack.

Rest in Peace, Jack. You have earned it.

Pam, Chick and family,
We were sorry to hear of your dad's passing but know that he lived a very full life of love and commitment. His obituary was the story of one of the "greatest generation".
You can also be proud of the loving care and support you have provided for both your dad, your mom and your aunt.
Thinking of you here in Texas,
Anne and Joe Riley

Jack was one of the nicest men I knew. He always took time to say hello and ask how things were going, even when we were kids. He always had a smile and he and Gen were a special couple. My sympathy as you mourn his loss and celebrate a life that was well lived and appreciated. Best, Ellie (Goodwin) Cochran
