Dear Dawn and Family,

May the love of friends and family carry you through this time of grief.

I have so many fond memories of the family reunions hosted by Uncle Jack and crew in Oneonta. He was a master planner for cooking and feeding the family members at these well attended events. He made sure a good time was had by all.

One time when he was visiting in San Diego, he challenged himself to make a meal for about ten of us from whatever he found in the kitchen. No shopping was allowed. The meal was delicious. He loved a good challenge.


Jack Messina was my Uncle Jack. I am the daughter of his only living sister, Josephine Brennan. My husband George and I send our sincerest condolences. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I remember the work Jack did around the church and have been very thankful for the power miter saw he gave me to use on the church. I have given it a bit of work.
