John Mitson Obituary
John was born August 26, 1953 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Andrew and Margret Mitson. He grew up in paradise and had a love of the ocean, surfing, and music. He joined the Navy that took him to Australia, where he met and married his beloved wife Anne. They then moved back to Hawaii, where they had their three children, Stephen, Nathan, and Sarah.
John was a wonderful Christian man, father, grandfather, and friend. Most days you would have found him lounging by the pool or hot tub, enjoying Christian music and reading his bible.
John is survived by his children Stephen, Nathan(Jaynon), and Sarah(Corey), his grandchildren, Sasha, Robert, and Aria, his sisters Linda and Kathryn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Anne, and his parents, Andrew and Margret.
There will be a small service for immediate family members only. John requested to be cremated and his ashes will be spread across the ocean at Castles Beach in Hawaii along with his wife's. 26, 1953, in Honolulu, Hawaii. May he rest in peace.

Can't remember if he and I went to Intermediate and High school together. Mahalo for his service in the USN...He was a great pal at Kahala...Glad to hear of his Christianity...

Uncle John was such a sweet man. He always took the time to ask about me and show me that he cared. He had a great laugh. During my last conversation with him he said he wanted to come out and visit me and see Florida. I am so sad that isn´t going to happen. I love you Uncle John. Fly high!

John used to take us surfing at castles on weekends. He also gave me my first computer. A commodore 64. We used to talk about techy stuff all the time. Miss you John!
