My prayers and thoughts to the family, Johnny was part of the Haysboro group of friends growing up who will be dearly missed. His sense of humor and great wit are just of few of his attributes. We will meet again my friend.

I worked with John for many years on seismic crews. We worked in Alberta, Sask and all over. He always made me laugh, he was kind and respectful to me (the only women most times on the crew). God Bless you John and I hope we will meet again. You will be missed. My condolences to his family Rose-Mary

I would like to extend my condolences to the Moroney family on the passing of a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. Growing up with John in Haysboro was an adventure that, at times, could be very unpredictable. I will always remember John being notorious for doling out nicknames. They were always very fitting and pretty damn funny until you were given your nickname. Rest in Peace John ... you will be missed by many.

Our hearts go out to Johnny's Family, to Cheryl and his many friends. John was a unique and special soul from our first meeting him in Jr High. Though we hadn't see him often in recent years, it was always a joy when we did. In recalling one of the last times we saw John's dad, at a family gathering at Jim and Carolyn's, we remember how John was so tender and attentive to Marty . We appreciated hearing updates over the years about Johnny his children, his travels and adventures and how he was getting on. We are so blessed to share faith and love and many memories with the big and beautiful Moroney Family. We also share your sorrow at this devastating loss. We hope and trust that Johnny and Marty are enjoying a grand reunion. We are very sorry to miss John's funeral, but be assured we are with you all in spirit and in prayer.
