My brother lives in Minneapolis and forwarded this to me. Our father (a Harvard man, I'm afraid)was a lieutenant in the Flying Tigers and brought the payroll over the hump, possibly in a plane piloted by your father. Truly, theirs was a grand generation, and your father sounds like a wonderful man. Condolences to your family.

Helen, I was so sorry to learn of your father's passing. The time we spent with John and Jane in the Galapagos remains vividly in my memory. Their enthusiasm and curiosity was infectious!
