John MORTENSON Obituary
With great sadness the family of John Mortenson announces his passing on February 4, 2016 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 91 years.
John will lovingly be remembered by his granddaughter Stephanie Schneider, son-in-law David Schneider and family, as well as his brother- in-law, two sisters-in-law, and many family members and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Eleanor Mortenson; his daughter Leah Schneider; and his siblings Edna, Agnus, and Margaret Mortenson.
John was born in Springwater, Saskatchewan to Jens and Annie Mortenson. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who took great pride in his family and home. John was loved and will always be remembered for his kind- heartedness by his extended family, friends and neighbours.
Cremation has taken place and as per John's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
