MURPHY _ John Patrick John Patrick Murphy died suddenly on his 75th birthday, January 10, 2007 at home in Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by his son Anthony in 1990, he is survived by his loving family, wife of fifty-three years, Theresia; children, Michael (Clara), John (Carol), Theresa (Dominic), Bernadette (Robert), Peter, as well as former daughter-in-law, Janice; six grandchildren, Dylan, Elizabeth, Melissa, Daniel, Emma and Anthony; two grandchildren, Tasia and Diego; his sister, Bridie (Martin) Conway; and numerous nieces and nephews. John lived life to the fullest and loved to make new friends. Visitation Monday, January 15 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of KEARNEY FUNERAL SERVICES, 1096 W. Broadway (at Spruce), Vancouver. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Augustine's Church, 2028 W. 7th Avenue (at Maple), Vancouver, BC, Rev. Gordon Cook, OMI, Celebrant. Grandad,
It's been awhile now, and I know that most of wish you were around... Life without you just isn't the same. I hope that you are at peace and that all the rucus down here isn't driving you barmy up there. I miss you so much, it hurts inside to think about it.
