My deepest sympathies go out to his wife and family. We had known each other since he was 15. I remember how he and his friend Frank enjoyed stargazing together. He had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed describing some hilarious incidents with his goats, expressed the sadness he felt when his cats went out and didn't return (coyotes?), the joy he felt when he built his huge bird cage, the love he put into caring for children. He was a wonderful human being.
