Dear Alani and the rest of the Navarro Familia,

I felt so honored to be there today at the beautiful service for your grandpa. I could not help thinking what a major contribution is made by the simple, honorable men such as he is and the integrity and work ethic he and Mary have passed down to so many beautiful, intelligent children and grandchildren. The world and all of us have such a richer existence due to the presence of all of you and the values you stand for. It will be difficult for all of you not to have him as the focus of who you are as a family, but you will all carry on with the love and connection that they have bequeathed to you. Abrazos,

Within the couple of times I met your abuelito, I grew to know a warm and caring man, full of sweet memories about his family. Those are the memories he has taken with him and will cherish forever. Alani, I know how much you loved your abuelito and I am honored to have known such a wonderful person.
