John Nowak Obituary
John A., 71, died November 17 at the Arbor Glen Nursing Center, Cedar Grove.
Born in East Orange he lived in Irvington before moving to North Arlington in 1968. He was a coach for the North Arlington Recreation Basketball and Baseball Leagues in the 1990's.
He worked for the Singac Plumbing Supply Company in Cedar Grove for 20 years before retiring 3 years ago.
He is the beloved husband of the late Laura (nee Johnson), the cherished father of Christopher J. Nowak and his wife Margaret of Essex Fells, the adored grandfather of Colin and Caleb, the loving brother of Joanne Schwartz of Cedar Grove, and the dear uncle of Jana Schwartz.
The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Friday, November 22, at 9 AM thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 AM. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
