It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of John Parker Kuhn, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left us far too soon in the early morning hours of April 17th, surrounded by family. He was 31 years old.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky – Parker was a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School. After graduation Parker attended Western Kentucky University where he met the love of his life, Grace. What started as a friendship grew into the love we have all been privileged to witness and share. Following his time at WKU, Parker took a job at Clayton & Crume as VP of Sales and Business Development. True to his steadfast loyalty, he remained a part of the C&C family through the end.
Parker was a kind, loving, and tender soul. His calming presence was a steady anchor to those lucky enough to know him. He cared deeply about his family and his friends. Whether through a thoughtful word, a warm smile, or simply showing up when it mattered, Parker had a way of making people feel seen and loved.
He found joy in life's simplest pleasures: family beach vacations, a cold beer in hand, and the comfort of the same favorite songs played on repeat. He was a man of steady rhythms, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Parker was at his best and most complete when he was with his wife, Grace, his family, and their daughter, Charlotte, who carries his likeness and spirit. His memory will live on in her, always.
Preceded in death by his grandfather John Jenkins and aunt Karyn Kuhn Yates; Parker is survived by his devoted wife, Grace; their cherished daughter, Charlotte; his parents, Deuce and Joellen; his brother, Trey and sister-in-law, Sidney; grandparents Karl and Sharon Kuhn; grandmother Jerry Ann Jenkins; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a wide circle of friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Parker's life was a reminder that gentleness is strength, kindness leaves a legacy, and love-above all-endures.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gheens Foundation Lodge, 1421 Beckley Creek Pkwy,
Louisville, KY 40245.
If you'd like to support the Kuhns during this time, we're asking that in lieu of flowers, you donate to this GoFundMe (
