John W Parkhurst Economy Boro - John W. "Chuckie" Parkhurst, 73, of Economy Boro, died Sunday April 30, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born September 2, 1949 in Oswego, NY. Son to the late Nelson Parkhurst, Gladys (Russell) Ingersoll, and also the step-son of the late Mary Parkhurst. He was Honorably Discharged from the Air Force and also dedicated his life's work to Veteran Affair's in the regional office. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Phyllis, his two children. His son, Jeffrey (Christine) Parkhurst and family. His daughter, Janine (Darin) Thomas, Alexis Watt, Dakota (Candace) Thomas, and his two fur grandbabies Rylei Jace and Piglet. He was also survived by his brother, Sidney (Melissa) Parkhurst and his sister, Sharon (Ed Godfrey) Parkhurst-Caley. He has several nieces, nephews, and also great nieces and nephews that he is survived by. He has had the pleasure of having so many close friends throughout his life, that they are all considered family and not just friends. He was a very loving husband, father, son, brother and an all-around good-guy that will be missed by all.

A memorial service and luncheon will be held in his honor on Friday May 12, 2023 at 11am at the Baden United Methodist Church located at 420 Dippold Avenue in Baden, were he was a lifelong member. No prior visitations are being held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baden United Methodist Church for the Homeless Outreach in his honor.
