John holds a special place in my heart as a friend and mentor. He took me under his wing and taught me a whole new perspective on business. He was generous with his time, patient, and kind. After loosing touch with him over the last 10+ years, I was excited to reconnect with him, especially since we had just purchased a home in Mt. Pleasant. I looking forward to spending time with him again, until I learned of his passing. I know you are resting in peace my good friend, and I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and reflecting on all of the fond memories I have of our time together.

What an amazing person person! King John always put life in perspective, he was someone to look up to and so proud to be part of his life. A great husband, father and friend..just cannot ask for more than that:) So blessed to know him and share so many laughs. He will always be part of some of the happiest memories we have, after all he was dubbed "King John". Much Love, Justice , Jimmy, Jackson and Anne Stuart

Didn't know you long but by way through Colonel Joseph Dawson your name was always mentioned and I felt as if I knew you for a life time. May your soul rest in the Arms of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.

John had a true humility and lived the Rule of being an Oblate to the best of his ability. He was gifted with shooting skills and was an influence in my own journeys. I regret not having told him so with greater emphasis.

Sending healing prayers and hugs to the rest of the family. I will always treasure the memories of my Uncle John with his great smile and sense of humor. Our family was spread out so we did not get to see you often enough but I cherish the times we were together. You dancing at my wedding, having a great time still plays in my head. God speed and God bless, I’m sure we will see you in Heaven.
