John, you enriched our lives by your wonderful sense of humor (OK, you don’t have to ask “did you miss me”? you know we do), by your tender heart, and your love for family and friends. We feel so fortunate to have had such a warm and satisfying friendship in the short time we had together. The memories of those times will be etched in our minds and hearts forever. We will always love you.
Colleen, you are in our thoughts & prayers everyday. May the grief you feel today be replaced by the wonderful memories you hold, and may you rejoice in knowing that you had the opportunity to know and love a true gentle spirit. We love you.

Dear Colleen, Leslie and family,
We were so sad to hear about John, as I know so many people were. He was such a fun, enjoyable man and always had a "twinkle" in his eye. Both of us worked for John at different times and he was a great boss. I think about you alot, Colleen, and hope you are doing okay. Our sincerely thoughts and prayers are with all of you. John will be remembered as a great and wonderful person. Sincerely, Suzanne and Terry Hess

It was sad to hear the news of JP's passing. He was well known for asking "Did you miss me?" and the answer is Yes! You certainly will be missed.

It was a beautiful service for you today, John. The tribute that your granddaughter made was SO SPECIAL, just like you! I am glad that you were a part of my life. The church was packed and you would have thought that it was pretty neat to see all of the ST people together again in one room.
I wish everyone strength to carry on without you by their sides. The seeds were planted to carry on your legacy!

John always had me fooled. Three or four times I would ask him how old he was. He would ask me how old I was and I would tell him my age (and then he would add 3 years) and tell me he was 51 or whatever. And I would think to myself how can that be? Sorry to hear the news, now 61 seems so young.

John was a shirt off his back kinda person. I loved when he would shake my hand with a tickle. That is what I think of when I remember John. Or something silly he would say or play a prank on me when he called. Life is all but moments, and that is all we have. I love and will always treasure these moments we shared.

John was one of the most awesome grandpas there were! I watched him with all his family and watched in awe. He was a very kind and loving man and all who knew him will know the loss of this great man. A very special prayer will be said for Mackenzie, Madison, Ivan, and Oscar. They have an especially hard loss on top of the loss of their other grandpa. I love you all and think about you daily! Colleen, my prayers and thoughts are with you, I am so sorry! Chris, Sarah, and Lori - I wish I could do something to take your pain. Keep all the good memories close and bring them up often. It will help you get through. Roxanne

Colleen and Family,
John was so proud of his family! My fondest memory of John was to walk into his office and see all the photos of his family (especially the grandkids!) All I had to do was pick up a photo and smile and John would launch into a story about what the grandkids were up to. As Felieni said, John was a great guy to work for and with. The three of us really had a wonderful time working together. I learned a lot from John. I can still remember how good he would make me feel when he would tell me he was proud of something I had done.
John will be missed by all of us. I hope and pray that our memories of John will bring a smile to you. It's what John would want.
My thoughts are with you, God bless and keep you comforted in your grief.
Deepest Regards,
Karolynn

Colleen and family, our hearts bleed with you; we were shocked to hear the news. We feel so fortunate to have been able to spend a little time with you in Sun Lakes last year--it was fun to see the work you had put into your retirement dreams. It's a sad reminder of how quickly life changes.
JP . . . you were one fun guy to work for and with!!!!! You always made it a joy to come to work. Your sense of humor was contagious. I can hear you now calling my name "Fellini!! Get in here, I've got a story to tell ya"!!!!! You weren't the best coffee maker around; entirely too strong for my tastes!
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! John was a great guy!

Colleen and Family,
I'm very sorry for your loss.
You're in our thoughts and prayers.
I feel very lucky to have worked for and with John (JP) and call him my friend. JP was a great manager because he was a great person that stood on his core principles.
JP had such a great gift to make people laugh. He could tell the same joke a hundred times and you'd laugh every time. When he walked in a room he always brought a smile to your face.
JP, I'll miss your laugh, your loyalty and your kind heart.
