We met Fred on his 80th Birthday at the Conch Republic. Sang Happy Birthday with the rest of the customers. I congratulated him on his 80th. We walked out the front door, Fred and his family walked out with this. We crossed the street together, went through the Tides gate together, ended up in the same building and on the same floor, just a few doors down from his condo. We enjoyed the rest of the January getting to know him and admire him. He walked every day on the beach, sat with us at the Friends Table and the guys and I enjoyed getting to know him. We looked forward to seeing Fred again last year. In true Fred fashion he was walking the beach and sitting with us during January 2020. Sad to see him leave but sure we would see him this year unless C19 kept him at home. We were devastated to learn of Fred´s death, but we are better people to have had him in our life if only for a short time. We learned a lot from Fred and our hearts are sad but our memories are wonderful. When I close my eyes I can still see him sitting at the Friends table. Rest now Fred, you have run the race with Faith and Grace. Your Tennessee Friends, Bill and Marilyn

We were truly sorry to hear about Fred´s passing. He was such a kind and gentle person. Fred always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He will be missed.
