Not sure what to say?

As I Sit in Heaven

As I sit in heaven
And watch you every day
I try and let you know with signs
I never went away
I hear you when you're laughing
And watch you as you sleep
I even place my arms around you
To calm you as you weep
I see you wish the days away
Begging to have me home
So I try and send you signs
So you know that you are not alone
Don't feel guilty that you have
Life that was denied to me
Heaven is truly beautiful
Just you wait and see
So live your life, laugh again
Enjoy yourself, be free
Then I know with every breath you take
You'll be taking one for me...

May God bless and comfort you in this time of sorrow.
My deepest sympathy to you Bonnie and to John's children

Dr. Pescosolido was one of my favorite and most influential teachers at CCSC. The reading and spelling skills which he taught made me a better teacher during my career. Although it's been over 50 years since sitting in his class I remember his teachings vividly. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
Sincerely,

John was a a serious scholar and a wonderful professor and administrator at CCSU. It was not only his academic work that made the man, it was also his friendship and being a colleague who "stood at your side." Great teachers like John are a blessing to all of us.

John was my friend. Our friendship, though, knew no bounds. The years we spent together were joyous one and passed too quickly. Professionally he stood alone. Our families were as one and, for that, I thank John. It's hard to believe he's not with us but his memory will always be with me. Thank you, my dear friend, for being my friend.

As we go through life, we acquire many friends, but not all of them are special. John was one of those 'special friends'. He and I have climbed many hills together as well as reversing the direction of valleys. I will miss him dearly.
My thoughts and love go out to his wife Bonnie and John's wonderful children, who he admired so deeply.
We, who really knew John, will continually be reminded of the great influence he had in all of our lives. God Bless.
