I will surely miss John ... But knowing you are at peace and pain free...I know you are in a better place... Now you can visit all your family and friends we have lost over the year.... I will always keep you in my prays and in my heart...

John was an excellent horn player in Egypt Oriental Band and was always there if you needed him. Just all around a very nice person and a Masonic Brother. My condolences go out to Georgia and family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Brother Bob A.

John was a wonderful and kind man. I grew up next door to him and will have fond memories of hearing him play his piccolo and giving the neighborhood fruit from the trees in his back yard. My prayers to Georgia and his family.

I knew Mr. Pettibone, as a Voyageur Militaire of the Societe of 40 Men and Eight Horses for 30 years and he was always a 'Class Act' and a Gentleman matched by none. As a friend and member of the 40/8 he was without peer. Never heard a cross word from him or about him. Humbly I call him my friend and will miss him.
