John "Jack" Piccolo
John (Jack) Piccolo, age 75, of Stratford passed away peacefully at home on December 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on January 31, 1947, to the late Bob and Nancy (DiCecco) Piccolo of Trumbull. He was always thinking and creating, and in 1971 founded P & C Fence Company, Inc. in Bridgeport. He remained an integral part of the company to the very end. He will continue to shape its future for years to come. He was a New York Giants super fan, along with love for the New York Yankees. Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Jones) Piccolo of Stratford, his daughter, Jennifer (Piccolo) Caruso, her husband, Clifford Caruso and their son, Owen of Shelton (who was truly the light of Jack's life), his sister, Mary Ellen (Piccolo) Cortigiano of North Branford, his nieces and nephews: Christopher Cortigiano of Monroe, Jessica (Cortigiano) Girasuolo and her husband Peter Girasuolo of North Branford, Deborah (Jones) Klittnick and her husband Geoffrey Klittnick of Monroe, Arnold Jones, Jr. and his wife Jaimee (Cronk) of Shelton and many wonderful great-nieces and nephews and beloved cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on December 27th, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery in Stratford.
