John QUILTY Obituary
November 22, 1936 - November 21, 2015
John was born in St John's, Newfoundland as the youngest of 16 siblings. He travelled to B.C. at an early age where he worked as a longshoreman for 43 years. John will be remembered as a hard-working husband and dedicated father. He passed away peacefully in his home with his loving wife at his side. John is survived by his wife Sylvia; brother Harold; daughters; sons-in-law; grandchildren; grandoggies as well as many family members across Canada. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BCSPCA (1-800-665-1868) in John's name would be appreciated. A gathering will be held in John's honour at the Slovenian Society, 5762 Sprott St., Burnaby, on Sunday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m.
