Reid, John Charles On November 06, 2003, John Charles Reid of St. Albert passed away at the age of 41 years, following a courageous battle with leukemia. John is survived by his loving wife, and best friend, Darcy; his three cherished children, Janelle, Brady, and Casey; his parents, Ernest and Noreen Reid, of Edmonton; his sisters, Gwen (Darrell) Bartlett of Nassau, Bahamas, Elizabeth Reid of Calgary, and Roberta (Todd) Jones of Sherwood Park; his brother, Robert Reid of Edmonton; grandmother, Marjorie Reid, of Gabarus, NS; his mother and father-in-law, Pat and Terry Mault, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. John was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Reid; grandparents, Jack and Marie Chisholm, and by his grandfather, Albert Reid. Friends who wish to pay their last respects, may do so at the St. Albert Funeral Home, Hwy #2 & St. Vital Avenue, on Saturday, November 8, 2003, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Church, 75 Poirier Avenue, St. Albert, on Sunday, November 09, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend John Hesse and Reverend Leo Floyd officiating.
