Seeing and talking with John and Anita´s family and friends recently at their long overdue memorial service highlighted their place in my heart. When John addressed me, he would say my entire name, not just the shortened nickname, and it had a way of honoring you just by the saying of your name. Those that knew him well, know the feeling exactly. Remembrances of how John and Anita, Re and Skin, and my parents (Sonny and Marion) would go out and socialize at all hours of the morning afternoon and evening, not to be scandalous, but rather free in spirit. It is my hope that those characteristics make it through generations and be held with love by their descendants. May they all be blessed with John and Anita´s loving ways.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He and your mom helped me so much after I lost my parents. I owe a lot of who I am today to them. To this day I still smile when I think of how many times your dad yelled at me as a kid when I would run across his lawn. LOL. Quincy has truly lost one of its finest citizens.

Two of my favorite people as a youth. John and Anita were dear family friends to my father, and family, and the truest example of what a man, and a marriage, should be. An example I will never forget, and strive to live up to. My heart goes out to the Ricciuti family. We were all blessed to know your dad and be part of your family. Our sincerest condolences.

John was a great man and a wonderful friend. He was loyal, proud and protective of family and friends. We remember all the beautiful dinners we shared with both he and Anita. Such a gracious host and accomplished cook. He was so very proud talking about each of his children and grandkids. We will miss his mischievous laugh and kind demeanor. All our love to Anita and his beautiful family during this most difficult time. The world will surely miss this amazing dapper and kind gentle man. Love to you all....Tom and Laura DiBona, Braintree, MA.

My condolences to the entire Ricciuti family, but especially to John and Michael, (and their cousin John), all of whom I had the privilege to know as students at NQHS. I was very touched by the notice in the newspaper. His picture captures the kindness, gentleness and warmth of this great man. His loss diminishes all of us. In sympathy, Rita (Euerle) Cavonius

O Most Gentle Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the soul of Thy departed servant. Be not severe in Thy judgment but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames. And do Thou, O Most Merciful Savior, send Thy Holy Angels to conduct Thy departed servant to a place of refreshment, light and peace. Amen.
And may his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
John was our nearest and best cousin.

Uncle John was truly one of the best! He was an incredibly remarkable, loving, caring man. He was there whenever you needed him, always ready to lend a hand and help in any way he could. Always with a kind word, piece of advice or funny story, being in his company was always special. He will be missed by all who knew him, learned from him, laughed with him, and were loved by him. I was honored to have him in my life. He will forever be loved.
