I was doing some family history research and with help from a friend, came across John Rich's obituary. His father Willie was my grandfather's (Morris Rich) brother. My dad (Ralph Rich) always told me he had a cousin named John and believed he was in Florida but we didn't know where. My dad passed away in 1991. If any of the family reads this, I would love to hear from you. I put my email address. I read all the comments and can see he was loved by all that knew him. I wish I could have met him. PaPa, I am so glad that you are reunited with Uncle Jake, WOW that must have been AWESOME,I can only imagine, I can't wait till we all meet again and we can meet Jesus too, you have been hanging out with Him for a while now so I am sure you got some good stories to tell us all when we get there about what You and Jesus have been doing. Johnny and I thought the world of Bro. Rich. We were so happy back on Friday night July 11,1975 when, even though he was not feeling well he loved us enough to go to the church and preform our wedding. That is only one happy memory of many we have of Bro. John A. Rich. Although in the recent years we didn't see much of him we thought of him often. Sis. Rich after 66 years under the same roof with him I know YOU miss him the most. But you can be sure that we ALL miss him and look forward to being with him in heaven some sweet day. I know this great man of God will be missed . I remember as a young boy going with my Grannie Burch to brush arbor meetings with John A. These meetings and his Preaching inspired my life. Many times I have had his teachings come back in my mind and heart, It is great to know we will meet again one day.
