Jack left a very impressive list of accomplishments in the boat manufacturing and international boat safety fields. Not only that, but I actually can't think of anybody who was a nicer guy than Jack. I'm very saddened by Jack's passing, as I had hoped to get to know this amiable fellow UofM NAME alumnus better when I retired.

Jack was a dear friend and teacher. We shared many adventures. I always learned more than I contributed. He will be missed.
