I'm terribly sorry to not have been able to attend John's wake/funeral, but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers were with you and your family. We will all miss both of your smiling faces. My condolences,

On behalf of the United Empire Loyalists' Association I want to express my condolences during this sorrowful time. While I didn't know John that well personally, I have always been inspired by his scholarly approach to the Loyalists and his dedication to the Association. This week I attended the funeral of a relative, so it is a fresh reminder of how difficult these times can be. My sympathy to you and the family.
