John was a really sweet man who forever smiled at all he encountered. It was a pleasure and privilege to know him and his lovely wife, Elvira. We worked together on many Opera productions from the early times through its progress to a fine company, an asset to Delaware. John always had words of encouragement when his friends had troubles, and was just fun to be around. The world would be a better place if more of us were like John--he was a fine example of an exemplary human being. He will be missed. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Mary Jo and Erskine Hopkins, Sarasota, FL.

To The Sarnecky family, so sorry for the loss of your dad. As a child I do remember you dad. Ken and I went to St Matthews. Be blessed that your dad shared in your life for such a very long time. God Bless you all
