Cora was born to William and Clara (Smith) Vincent on January 9, 1927, at Kowanda, Neb. She received her schooling from Dist. 56 as did her mother. Cora graduated from Garden County High School in 1945. She also attended Southwest University, Waxahachie, Texas for one year, then returned to Nebraska and worked for a few months at the local draft office until it closed. She then went to work at the Nebraska State Bank on January 2, 1947.
On October 14, 1950, Cora married Donald L. Fecht at Kowanda, Neb., in the same home her parents were wed and Cora was also born there. Cora and Don continued working together at the Nebraska State Bank with Floyd Ferrell until 1967 when they, and Bill and Joyce Olson purchased the bank from Mr. Ferrell. After 36 years in the bank, Don and Cora retired in Oshkosh.
Cora was instrumental in the building of the Oshkosh Assembly of God Church and is a Charter member. She served in every office of the church, plus teaching Sunday School and playing the piano and organ.
Cora was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. 5379. She also worked on the Garden County History Book published in 1986. She belonged to the "Red Hat Society" and enjoyed their many outings together.
After several years of traveling to Scottsbluff three times a week for dialysis, she and Don moved into The Village in Scottsbluff in March 2010. On May 23, 2010, Don passed away. Cora continued to live at The Village, but on August 6, 2010, while out taking a walk she fell and suffered a traumatic injury. After nearly seven weeks in Denver, she returned back to Scottsbluff. She was currently living at the Golden Living Center at the time of her death.

I remember Correnne, as a beautiful lady. She is my Dad, Raymond Vincent's (family of George Vincent) cousin. I last saw her in Wapato, WA while they were visiting my parents. Donna Vincent Campbell
