John Fredrick Scorfina, of Wright City, MO, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 51. Cherished son of Frank Paul (Gwendolyn) Scorfina, III and the late Katherine Scorfina; devoted father of Hayden Scorfina, Riley Scorfina and the late Vincent “Vinny” Scorfina; loving grandson of the late Sarah Marie Scorfina; dear brother of Frank Paul Scorfina, IV, the late Anthony J. Scorfina and Thomas A. (Amanda) Scorfina. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John sponsored the St. Louis Royals Rugby Club, a team in which he played on for more than five years. He enjoyed traveling with the team throughout the seasons. He also played soccer and enjoyed weightlifting and fitness. John was strong, mentally and physically. He had a dedicated work ethic and ran a successful business. In his free time he loved the quiet of the outdoors and did a little fishing.
John was a very loving and giving person. He had a contagious smile and loved to bring smiles to others as well. John was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in John's name to Mid America Transplant or American Cancer Society.
