Beer and tomato juice will be the toast to night. Tomorrow will be VO! Two of my favorites, yet I never knew either of you. Picture you in Heaven smiling down on all you love.
Just another ol' bartender who'd loved to have served the perfect cocktail to the perfect couple.

Goodbye Big John, and Good Sailing.
I did not know you well but what I did know, I was in awe of. Especially the stories of you driving through Plattsburgh at 10 MPH with the left blinker on.
I admire that! I hope I live as rich and full a life as yours.

I did not know big John as well as most, but I have been audience to his great stories and my limited visits to his house were nothing but great fun. He would offer you everything in the fridge and pantry if you let him. The many great stories I've heard from Hazel, my mother Judy and aunt Donna make me wish I was there experiencing them as well. My thoughts go out to all of his family and Hazel, excellent job with the Obit. He woudlnt have wanted people to remember him any other way!

My sympathy goes out to you Isabelle and your family. So many memories of John remain with me. He was always thoughtful and kind to me, his neightbor & and always ready for a good chat, often in the middle of the road. May the good lord look kindly upon him.

My love to a great man who I always looked up to and would always make me laugh with his breakfast buffets, mowing your weeds in the garden to save time, our crazy adventure driving to Pensacola and you telling us to,"Tromp it!" Your Navy stories or the stories of fixing the lines up on Rand Hill. You'd always call me Trudy, Mary or Freida, but always remembered me and my family. Big Moe you will truly be missed , but you will definitely make your next world a better and funnier place. My love to the family you have left behind. Thanks for sharing such a great Pop with me. I'll have a can of Bud and a tomatoe juice for you "Big Moe".

John Seiden Obituary
PLATTSBURGH — On Feb. 14, 2007, Big John left town to move on to his next big adventure. He left quietly and peacefully in his sleep. He was a very kind, polite, gentle man and those he touched loved him dearly. He lived his life on his own... Read John Seiden's Obituary
