My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I knew John through my father Dean Sampson. Now they can be “buddies” in heaven watching over us.

MY heart felt sympathy goes out to you all.
I met your Dad through Tammy when I was only 14 years old. He and I kept a very special relationship for all these years. He was from the first day I meet him my "POPS". My Dad lives far away and I miss him very much and Tammy knew that. To this day Tammy has never said a word to me about how I loved to share her Dad. Your Dad my "POPS" was very much like a dad to me, and a very special person in my life and for sharing him with me I THANK You Tammy.
One of my favorite memories is the weekend that you and I went out to the lake Tammy and your Dad and I fought our way through laying the rug in the main bedroom. Oh Tammy,do you remember the water fight that we had on 7th ave, I can still hear him laughing.
He was at your grad Tammy which meant he was at mine too. He came up to the hospital when I had my first two babies and brought a gifts for them. On my Wedding Day, "Pops" met me at the entrance I walked in at, both of us with tears falling from our eyes, we gave each other a hug then we cried and later we dance. He look so very Handsome that day. Pops came to my house for a few Christmas Eve's. I tried to never miss taking my kids to his house on halloween, when I lived in the city. I tried my very best to never miss his birthday, it didn't matter if it was a call, lunch date or a card sent to him.
I always tried to let"Pops" know that he was very speical to me. Pops in his own way let me know that I was special to him too. I got heck when he felt I needed it and if I agreed or not we had our own thoughts and we voiced them to each other. I also gave a hug when needed and so did he.
I want to thank you, Tammy for sharing your Dad with me for "Pops" will always be a very special person to ME, and to my family.
With heavy hearts we wish you Deepest Sympathy to all of the Selinger Family.
Rhonda, Tim, Brittany, Chelsea, Evan, Austin and Danielle.
