John SEMENIUK Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband, Dad and Grandfather, John T. Semeniuk of Smoky Lake, who at the age of 81 years passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen "Elsie" of 56 years; daughter, Valerie (Randy) Franchuk and their children, Ryan (Chelsea Pickett), Scott and Amanda (Mike MacMillan); son, Gordon (Laverne) and their children, Jennifer and Kevin (Tannis); three brothers, Nicholas (Helen), Andy (Sharon) and Steve (Shirley); three sisters, Kay Dugger, Phyllis (George) Moskalyk and Eunice (Don) Wallace; four sisters-in-law; two aunts; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Mary; infant son, Robbie; four brothers; one sister; one brother-in-law.
Funeral Service Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Ukrainian National Hall, Smoky Lake. Reverend Father Gerasim Power officiating, with interment in Holy Trinity Russo- Orthodox Cemetery, Smoky Lake.

My dear Ellen and family .. I am so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult to say goodbye to the ones we love. I hope you all find peace knowing that John is now at peace with no more struggles. There comes a time when we must love enough to let a loved one go . I am so blessed to have been able to care for John .. Such a quiet, sweet, and gentle soul... All my love and hugs. Dear Auntie Elsie, Val & Randy, Gordon & Laverne and families. I was very saddened when mom told me about Uncle John's passing. I have many wonderful memories as our families spent a lot of time together when I was growing up. I will miss Uncle John dearly. Our hugs and prayers go out to you all.
