John Robert Shafer

I recall appointing John with Auto-Owners Insurance in 2001. I gave him a goal of 24 life applications in the first year and he did exactly what he said he would do. I know he wrote annuities on a lot of grandchildren that hopefully they are reaping the benefits of today. What I appreciate about John is that he did exactly what he said he would do. He worked so hard for his customers and even with his failing eyesight then, back in 2001, he would just get out the big magnifying glass and read what he needed to read. He cared deeply about his customers and worked very hard to serve them. John will be missed by many people and was a credit to the insurance industry and customers he served for so many years. I am sure that Mindy will carry on the great service that Shafer Insurance Agency provides.
