My name is Ralo Flores. I interviewed and hired John when I was a manager for Brown-Forman Enterprises in the 80's. He was a rare breed, a person that truly cared about his customers that was proven by the quality of his services for them. One of the nicest men I've known. Today is Dec 16 2023 and I'm hanging a picture he took, I believe if my memory serves me right, a picture he took of this bus on his way to California. I'll never forget John because this picture hangs in my office.

I knew John when he was at Archies, where I was a year ahead of him.
Also, from hanging out at Wesagussett Beach where I first heard his nickname, "Red Dog"...I never knew how he got that label, but it's what he was known as, outside of Archies.
Also, for years when I lived in N. Marshfield, he was friends with my Postmaster at our little P.O., as well as his classmate at AWHS, Stan Kroll.
I also remember John making an appearance at one of my infamous Halloween Parties, dressed as Robin Hood: I can still picture him in that getup!
He was a real nice, kind man.

Dear John, my brother,
You know you are missed and will be forever. You were always the big brother and accepted that well! This was your gift all your siblings will tell. You loved, cared and always shared.
Your life was brief yet full with wonderful friends and family. Now, God has blessed you with everlasting peace.
Love and great memories, Claudia

John was like a brother to me and even to my wife. All the times I spent at your house, I always had a wonderful time - especially fish and chips nights! You guys have a wonderful family and I always felt like I was a part of it. John will be in our hearts forever. Brian and Elaine Fahey

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I've known John since we were students at Archie's where he played on several great football teams coached by the immortal, Armand Columbo. During the summers, we all hung out down at Wessagusett Beach, where he was known as "Red Dog", a very apt knick name for the times! I always got a kick out of hearing that name.
I had been in contact with John via emails over the past, and missed a chance to hook up with him the last time I was out in Ventura (CA). He was a very nice guy and will be missed by many. I will always remember John whom I never heard say an unkind word to anyone.
God bless him, his memory and his loved ones!
