SITTERLE JOHN G. "JACK
Age 89, of West View, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Born in Pittsburgh on August 13, 1924, son of the late John and Lillian (Meyer) Sitterle. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie G. (Mueller) Sitterle; father of Jacqueline M. Anderson of Brookline, Allen J. Sitterle of South Carolina, and Jeffrey J. Sitterle of Georgia; grandfather of Nicole (Paul) Darden, Michael (Christie) Anderson, Bridget (Trent) Kinard, Jennifer (Jeff) Powell, Dylan (Kim) Sitterle, and Zachary Sitterle; great- grandfather of Tyler, Ashlyn and Alyssa Darden, Hunter, Emma, Laney and Kolt Kinard, and Sabrina and Cameron Powell; also survived by his sister-in-law, Linda Klug. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sitterle was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Deer and Anna Mae Wasko. Family will welcome friends Friday 9-11 a.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 388 Center Avenue in West View, 15229, where services will be held immediately following visitation at 11 a.m. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Hill. Jack was an Army veteran of WWII, a member of V.F.W. #2754, and a member of the St. Boniface Over 50 Club. He was also a bus driver for the Port Authority. Please pay tribute at:
