Unexpectedly on Sun. Jan 6, 2008, age 67, of Greenfield, beloved husband of 46 years to Aggie (McCarthy) Skeels, devoted father of John F. (Regina) III, Beth (Boomer) Cannon, Lynan (Roy) Cochrane and Joe (Jenn) Skeels, Pap of Nicole, John F. IV "Buddy", Bobby, Chelsea, Tanner, Jenna, Elle and Brendan, son of the late John F. and Helen B. (Janusiewicz) Skeels, brother of Joanne Rogowski, Patty Ciak and Paula Waligorski, special nephew of Caroline and Mel Kunz, closely related to Janet Kichinko, Terry and Mario DeIuliis; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. Friends will be received Wed. & Thurs 2-4 & 7-9pm in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral Fri. at 9:30am followed by Funeral Mass in St. Rosalia Church at 10am.

I have known the Skeels family my whole life and you are all like family. You all have been great neighbors to us. I am very sorry for your loss and my deepest sympathy to all of you.
