John A. Smith passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 57 in Carson City, NV. Born on October 23, 1967, in Syracuse New York, he grew up and attended school in San Jose, California. John was known for his vibrant passion for life, which was evident in his love for dancing, music, sports, and the joyous times spent with his friends and family.

John is survived by his mother, Dianne Smith; sister, April Graves and her family; and his sons, Justin, Jacob, and Jordan Smith. He also leaves behind a loving circle of brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Smith, and his wife, Jenny. John was also a member of the Oneida Nation of New York.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have shown their support during this time.
