We knew John from the day we moved to Florida in 1985. He became a dear friend of ours. We moved to Arizona in 2000, but always kept in touch. When we visited Florida, he was first on our list to visit with. As a matter of fact, in his apartment is some of our furniture that we gave John and Bernie.
We played tennis with him for many years and enjoyed every match with him.
We were saddened to learn of his passing. We last heard from John in November with a letter and birthday card, which he never forgot both of our birthdays. A kind and loving person. He will be missed. He is in our prayers.

I knew John for many years from the tennis courts at pioneer park. Always fun to be with and talk to. We haven't seen him for some time though..shocked at his untimely loss. He will be buried next to his long time friend burney halliday. Rest in peace.
