My condolences to Ruth and the rest of
John's family. I know he will be missed. I regret my not keeping in touch with him after we left Texaco in 1995. John was a great shipmate and
fellow ham radio operator. Many hours
were spent discussing radio items while we were away from home, out at
sea. Arriving at Port Arthur or another
nearby port would have John, me, Mendy, and Marvin meeting for a pizza or a visit to John or Marvin's house. John's life was a constantly changing
experience, as witnessed by his many businesses and hobbies. He was a
character!
