Someone once asked me what I notice first about a person. I said that I notice if they are smiling. Your father/grandfather always had a huge smile on his face and a warm welcome whenever I saw him; it was a pleasure. I believe he passed that trait on to all of you. Uncle John and I became very close during my adolescent age as I was not the easiest teenager to handle, but he coped!
He remained a father figure to all of his Sisters Ashlynne five children never forgetting our birthdays with cards and calls of laughter! A character absoulutely, a master seafood BBQ chef, (when he came to the south he flew in what his Sis says was real seafood) it was the best we all had ever had!
Thank You So MUCH MY SUMMERS Cousins & Family for assisting my Mothers reunited visted with her brother just two weeks ago!
