SYRETTE, John B. – Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Catherine "Kitty" (nee Stevens) for 54 years. Loving father of the late Cindy, John Jr. (Annelind Wakegijig), Paul (Tanya Boissoneau), Ruth Ann, Cathy "Gizz" Cassidy (Roger), Laurie and Robin (Mike). Cherished Grandpa of Brian, Elizabeth, Darryl, Grant, Meaghan, Kailyn, Carter, Peter and Great Grandpa of Liam and Landon. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Jean Syrette. Dear brother of Ann Russ (late Jerry), late Theresa Alton (late Alfred), late Dominic and Christine Bolduc (late Ange-Ami). A private visitation and service will be held with Rev. Jean Pierre MuKuna officiating at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church would be appreciated. A special thank you to Garden River PSW's Beau, Lisa and Peter, Bayshore Nurses and Rita at CCAC for their compassion and care.
