so sorry to hear of Johns passing. You will be in my thouhgts and prayers. John was a wonderful man and an inspiration to many young people. I thank him for being a special part of my son shanes life while in high school and playing baseball.. I remember the wonderful times we all had while traviling to play ball.. we were all like family.. May god bless and keep you in the days to come.

So sorry for the loss of Coach Taylor. I was a student at Neff many yrs ago and although he was not my teacher he always knew me from then own. Even seeing him many times at Food City over the years he always would speak.I am a Rebel and Rebel country will forever miss him. God bless to the family and you are in my prayers

Coach Taylor was somebody i had all the trust in in high school as my baseball coach at PH..Always called me "buck" after my dad...Just a wonderful man with a big heart..He will be truely missed in rebel country..Thanks for all you did coach...May god bless you

I saw John at the "Big M" a few years back and he came running over to say "hello". That will always be how I will remember him---laughing and talking about the good old days.

I am very sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many good memories of growing up in Meadowview and times spent together with John. I last saw him a couple of years ago while visiting the Abingdon area and we had a good visit. May God bless the entire family with peace and comfort in the days ahead.

The past few years of going to the area Parades will always be how we remember him best. The joy that he always brought to the faces of not just the young but the old too.
