Our deepest sympathy to your family. We have fond memories of John when he visited his family who were our neighbors in Arlington. He was always so sweet and kind to us. We all considered him a VERY special man.
You are in our thoughts,

John was my fraternity brother and good friend. I've never known a finer, straighter or braver person.

Cheryl and Clay Cavazos would like to express our sincere condolences for your loss. LTCol Thompson was a truly great American. We want to especially thank you and him for assisting us in establishing jobs at General Dynamics and helping us to put down roots in Fort Worth. It was such a pleasure to know him and we know he and my Dad Bobby are probably working out on God's team right now.
