John J. "Jack" Tobias Jr.

John J. Tobias Jr. 93, of Allentown passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 5, 2022. He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Kraftician) Tobias. Born in Allentown, John was a son of the late John J. Sr. and Ann (Byrne) Tobias. Jack was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Allentown. Jack loved spending time with his family and was very good with electrical work. He enjoyed fishing and occasionally going to the casino. Surviving are his nephews: William Boyko husband of Laura and their children William & Heather. Dr. David Bigatel husband of Levelle. Sister: Mary Boyko. Sister-in-law: Mildred "Millie" Bigatel. Jack was predeceased by his nephew John Boyko husband of Connie Boyko and her children John & Eric. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 10:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church. Calling will be from 9:00-9:45AM in the vestibule. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kohut Funeral Home.
