To my beloved Father-In-Law,
"Daddy" you hold a very special place in my heart. I lost my own father 26 years ago, somehow you filled some of that void - Having a father to call on, to visit, to share jokes with. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating me like your own.
For the 8 years I've known you, you've shown me nothing but kindness. You always made me laugh. I loved hearing your jokes and your life stories. You've taught me more patience, the determination in life and the importance of being on time (although I'm still working on that last one). You were straight forward and I loved that about you. You were very generous, you mean well and I have the outmost respect for you.
Thank you for making the great efforts in coming to New York and our unforgettable time in Atlantic City. We sure had a blast. I will always treasure those moments.. Nico, Frank and I loves you very much. Till we meet again...Rest in Peace.
"Just take it from the Top"
Your Daughter-in-Law,

Dear Dad,
You put up a tremendous battle for the past 10 years, and through it all you stood strong to the end. I can only live by the example you set for me to never stop fighting and to live life on the terms that we set for ourselves. I will be forever grateful for the times we shared together, especially all those times at the sunset of your life. A distance of 1,000 miles did not stop us from growing closer together and sharing our thoughts and feelings. We made it our mission that you get to meet and know your 11 month old grandson Nico, and to fulfill your last wish to come back to New York City, along with a stop to Atlantic City. I, along with Lenie and Nico, will miss you until we meet again. I will also miss our daily afternoon talks on the telephone, and all the counsel and advice that you gave to me. I also thank you for the greatest gifts a father could ever give to his son; the opportunity to leave no words unsaid, to have no regrets, and to share that last dish of ice cream together.
