We were so sad to hear of John's passing. He will always be remembered for having that great Twombley sense of humor and for the legacy of his great children. We cannot begin to fathom your loss, but we are hear for you if you need anything. You are an amazing family and we love you!

I will always remember John from 'Cousin's Nite Out' dinners on the Cape....the way he would lean forward listening, with his hands clasped and elbows on the table; the gesturing when he would tell a lonnnggg story; the way he looked at you quizzically;head tilted slightly,raised eyebrow, the slightest smile( as if he didn't quite believe what you were saying!)......I applaud his family for a lovely tribute and thank his friends for their support.I will miss him,Alison

We will always think of John as the fun loving cousin who took us out on the dune buggy back in 1971 when I was expecting my twins. May God watch over each one of you and give you strength during this time of grieving. Enjoy the good times and share them with each other frequently like a checkbook of memories.

I am so sad to read about John's death. I knew him many years ago, in high school, and have never forgotten his fun-loving spirit, or his mother,-who always made room for one more at the dinner table! Most recently, I have come to know his sister-in-law, Christine. My thoughts are with all of you.

Our world lost a loving man yesterday and heaven gained a pure & giving soul. Your Dad loved you both so much and I will be forever grateful for all the love & help your family extended to Tim & Allison. They both think of you as family and are so sad right now.
