John was born on March 26, 1940 and passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. John was a resident of Newton, Iowa at the time of passing. He graduated from Newton High School in 1959. John served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965 as a radar mechanic and a rifle marksman. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton. Visitation at the Community Heights Alliance Church (Newton) from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on May 31, 2019.
