A Memory from 1970's. John and I were wading in the ocean at dusk at a beach in Rhode Island. I saw lights around my waist, as if I had a skirt made of many tiny lights. John knew what this phenomenon was - "bio-luminescence" ocean plankton that were drawn to me and are luminescent.
