JOHN ANTHONY VENTRIGLIA

John Anthony Ventriglia, 70, of Bradenton, FL, died February 12, 2000. Born August 5, 1929 in Piermont, NY, he moved to Bradenton in 1970 from Monsey, NY. He retired in 1998 after 10 years as a maintenance supervisor for New College in Sarasota, FL, and owned John Ventriglia Masonry in Bradenton from 1970-1990. He was a member of Steamfitters Union Local # 373, Lifemember of VFW Post #10141 in Palma Sola, FL, Knights of Columbus, and the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, DC. He was a Navy veteran and attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Sarasota, FL. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Rodman of Maple Shade, NJ and John A. Jr of Bradenton, FL; brother, Anthony of Piermont, NY; two sisters, Carmela Grau of Garnerville, NY, and Madeline Ventriglia of Sparkill, NY; and three grandchildren.
