John was incredibly smart, and so much fun to talk with. I loved his sense of humor - and greatly appreciated his thoughtful take on the news, and how he approached people. I greatly missed him when he left the station. He had purpose in life, and I will forever remember him as one of the good guys.

I enjoyed working with John at 3m. He was always in good humor. I looked forward to his deliveries of products for me to photograph. He will be missed.

Everyone who knows John will attest that he operated at a higher level than most. If I didn´t understand something he said, I made sure to ask him later to explain, as I was likely to learn something new and very often got a good laugh. I found his perspective always unique, intelligent and strategic. He was a good man, and left an incredible legacy at 3M (among other places).

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my coworker and friend, John Vincent, whom I fondly called "JV". Our desks were right next to each other at 3M, and I was fortunate to share countless laughs and moments of joy. He was incredibly talented and always willing to lend a helping hand. His wit and humor never failed to make me smile. JV will be greatly missed, but his memory will continue to bring warmth and inspiration to all who knew him.

I will remember John as a kind man, who had more grace than most and a razor sharp wit. I'm proud to have known him and called him friend. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of John's untimely passing! Thank you for John and Nancy's selfless decision to save the lives of others through organ donation. My husband would not enjoy life with his three daughters if it wasn't for his heart donor saving his life six years ago. Wishing you all comfort and peace in this time of unexplainable grief.

John was the person I first interacted with significantly when I started working in 3M's Automotive Aftermarket Division. He was supportive. He was thoughtful. He went the extra mile and always had a workaround up his sleeve. And he kept a sense of humor throughout the process, with many 'plays on the words' that made me giggle to this day. (A personal favorite was a cartoon he shared about the importance of commas, because the phrase "Let's eat, grandma" is very different than "Let's eat grandma" :P ) I'm fortunate to have met John and will miss him.

I was a reporter for 27 years and one day a new face in the Producers area. John was such an easy guy to meet and get to know. And as he moved into producing shows, when deadline was looming he always kept his cool. He relied on his dry sense of humor to lower the temperature. What a nice guy. He´ll
Sorely be missed. My thoughts are with his family.

John's writing was concise and accurate. He didn't settle for average and worked very hard to make the site great. He also grew the tools used to do things we take for granted today, like video with stories and custom images for stories on the site. He never "settled". That's a Legacy to be appreciated.

Every day I spent with John was better because of his presence. Most of our conversations were filled with laughter, triggered by the absurdity of stories we covered and the wacky world around us. I´ll left one tonight in your honor, Vincenzo.
